Hi, Please open Device Manager and see if the Bluetooth device is recognized. If yes, right click on it and select Update driver. If Windows cannot find the driver for that device, you can select Details tab in the device properties to confirm the provider and check for drivers in the provider's site.
Solution 1: Check the status of the Bluetooth service 1) Right-click on the Start button to select Device Manager. 2) Check to see if there is a Bluetooth Device in the Network adapter section and if there is a Bluetooth section. If Here is how to do that. Step 1: Download the Bluetooth device driver from your computer manufacturer’s website. Step 2: In the Device Manager, expand the Bluetooth entry to see the Bluetooth adapter entry. Step 3:Right-click on the Bluetooth adapter entry and then click the Uninstall option.
3. Check if Your Device Supports Bluetooth . If you don’t have the option of adding Bluetooth to the Action Center quick list, there is a chance your Bluetooth drivers are missing, or your device doesn’t support Bluetooth. Here is how you can check if Bluetooth is supported and configured properly on your device: Press Windows Key + I to

When I open device manager, there is no bluetooth option. Other recommendations relate to having buetooth devices. I do not have any devices, the only thing I have is the dongle and it is plugged into the computer. It used to work until I updated to windows 10. I am not sure what I could do. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Bluetooth isn not working, Sony Vaio 64-bit - Windows 10. In devices tab in settings I found a note about turning bluetooth " To turn bluetooth on or off without opening settings, open action center and select the Bluetooth icon". I couldn't find the action center to turn bluetooth on, even in device manager there's no bluetooth icon. In Windows search for "Bluetooth". In the settings, if it comes up, turn on bluetooth. That may be all you need to do. If you don't see the option at all then make sure it is turned on in the BIOS (some boards have this option). The easiest thing to do is google for your motherboard specs and see what they say. Press Win+R to open Run. type: msconfig. Under Boot tab and uncheck Safe Boot. Restart your computer again to boot in Normal Mode. Check if the Bluetooth issue is resolved. Press Start then search Device Manager. Under View tab > Show hidden Devices. Check if you can see your Bluetooth device.

A simple fix was to uninstall the driver from device manager (in your case, do this for Bluetooth), then restart the computer. Also make sure the Bluetooth driver is up to date from HP's driver support website. Windows 10: Right click on start > Device Manager. Last edited by ellellell1; 22 Feb 2017 at 04:47 .
