Try to change it with the transmission mount as well, and maybe other wear and tear parts for preventative maintenance while they are at it. Quite a bit of labour involved, since they have to disconnect quite a few things at the bottom of the car, to get at the mounts.
1281 code returns after clearing faults and attempting to start. I have tested every pin in the DME harness connector. - Good voltage at all coils and injectors. - Good voltage at always-hot pin and key-switch pin (when switched) - Good grounds. - Good fuel pump activation. I suspected a bad CKP sensor and replaced it.
The end result is a misfire and a high pitch whine from under the vehicle. 2008 328i E90 w/82K miles and no major problems so far. I doubt that worn/soft rear subframe bushings could cause the symptoms of: 1Accelerating hard sometimes gives a torquey thump from the rear middle underside of car. 2Changing gear in low gears gives a rocking/clunky effect coming from middle rear underside of car. 3Disengaging the clutch pedal out quiclky when moving also gives clunky HFqlhq.
